CAMP STITCHES is the place
for at-your-own-pace,
relaxed-but-intensive learning.
Hyatt Regency Tamaya Resort and Spa
Santa Ana Pueblo
NOV 5-9
Spend an enchanting weekend with our stellar instructor line-up and learn more about knitting, crocheting, and weaving as you experience the landscape and hospitality of New Mexico.
Franklin Habit explores Color Knitting: the basics and (way) beyond. Technique and theory make much more sense when directed by a pro in a live format.
The fun begins on Thursday evening. Plan to arrive in time for the 8 pm get-together. Classes meet from 9 to 12 and 1 to 4 on Friday and Sunday and from 9 to 12 on Saturday. Saturday afternoon is free for enjoying the spa and other resort activities, sightseeing, shopping, or more knitting! We share breakfast, lunch, and snacks; Tamaya offers excellent options for your evening meals.
Deborah Jarchow gives you a Rigid-heddle weaving jump start —no matter your skill level. You will create a scarf or fabric as you learn the specifics and refinements of hand-weaving.
Dawn McCormick guides you through Knit jacket essentials as you learn the elements to creating a Chanel-style garment. From swatching to lining, she has it covered.
Rick Mondragon takes A no-number approach to set-in sleeved sweaters  and shows you how to get there in your own design work. Knitters and crocheters will be amazed at how easy the process can be.
Myra Wood asks you to go Pattern-free and fabulous while working from templates. Multi-color and multi-direction garment design and exercises will have you knitting or crocheting a whole new wardrobe.
“The Camp was amazing. I had no idea what to expect, but I must say Camp STITCHES exceeded anything I could have imagined.”
