Toe-up Magic Loop Toddler Socks with Lorilee Beltman
Knit a toddler-sized sock while you learn the toe-up process using many new techniques. Start with Judy's Magic Cast-on, proceed with magic loop knitting and toe increases, followed by your choice of an upside-down or after-thought heel, beautifully mirrored decreases, and topped off with Jeny's surprisingly stretchy bind-off. Gain confidence galore! Note: Beginner sock knitters are welcome in this class.

32-40" long, circular needle, 3.5mm/US 4 to 4mm/US 6.
Note: Your needle must be high quality with a smooth needle-to-cable join.
Worsted weight yarn will be provided in the classroom at no charge.

Sharp scissors, notebook, pen or pencil with an eraser, stitch markers, blunt tapestry needles (large and small), flexible tape measure, small calculator, and needles & crochet hooks of various sizes.

Although gauge is not critical for this class, work up a swatch before hand to determine which needle works with your chosen yarn to reach a gauge of 22 to 24 stitches per 4 inches in Stockinette stitch.  It is a snug gauge for worsted weight yarn but will work well for socks.
