Creative Crochet Lace with Myra Wood
Crochet lace is easier than you think! If you can chain, single, and double crochet, you can crochet incredible lacework in different directions without any patterns! Apply the basic logic of crochet lace as you create lace patterning for a beautiful triangular shawl. Learn to read crochet charts and make your own. Note: Must know basic crochet stitches.
Supplies
At least 250 yards of smooth #2 (fingering-weight) yarn in any light to medium color, any fiber (no novelties) 100% cotton or Merino wool is suggested (bring several skeins of different fibers to try if you'd like); size F, G, and H crochet hooks.Sharp scissors, notebook, pen or pencil with an eraser, stitch markers, blunt tapestry needles (large and small), flexible tape measure, small calculator, and needles & crochet hooks of various sizes.
