Portuguese Style of Knitting with Andrea Wong
This class will offer all the basics about this fascinating and useful style of hand knitting. The Portuguese style of knitting is different from both Continental and English styles and offers some advantages. Material Fee: $5.00 for knitting pin (optional). Supplies
#3 (worsted-weight) yarn in 2 contrasting colors; circular or straight needles, size 4.5 or 5.0mm (US 7 or 8) and 16" circular needle in same size range.Sharp scissors, notebook, pen or pencil with an eraser, stitch markers, blunt tapestry needles (large and small), flexible tape measure, small calculator, and needles & crochet hooks of various sizes.
