Mera Shrug with Anne Kuo Lukito
The Mera Shrug is a versatile and stylish piece worked top-down with raglan sleeves. The back is rounded using short rows and the cuffs and border are worked  in a very attractive, reversible cable. Learn all the elements necessary to make your own successful full-sized Mera by working a mini-version.
Note: Must be able to read a chart.


Supplies
Homework, yarn and needles used for homework.

Sharp scissors, notebook, pen or pencil with an eraser, stitch markers, blunt tapestry needles (large and small), flexible tape measure, small calculator, and needles & crochet hooks of various sizes.

Homework
Swatch 1 With light colored DK weight yarn and appropriate needles, CO 10 sts. Row 1 (RS) K1, place marker (pm), k3, pm, k2, pm, k3, pm, k1. Row 2 (WS) Purl across. Leave stitches on needle and bring to class.
Swatch 2 With light colored DK weight yarn and appropriate needles for yarn, CO 16 sts. Row 1 (P2, k2) to end. Repeat Row 1 seven more times, working a total of 8 rows. Leave stitches on needle and bring to class.
