Pinstriped Knitting with Annie Modesitt
Learn this quick and easy way of creating complicated-looking fabric with slimming optical effects. Infuse other colors for different "rhythms." Make increasing, decreasing and counting stitches simpler. Throw in some textures for an even-more-complex look.Note: Must have knowledge of stranded 2-color knitting. Supplies
Two or more contrasting colored, #4 (worsted weight) yarn, 5 or 5.5mm/US 8 or 9 circular knitting needles, a cable needle, and graph paper (4 squares to the inch preferable).Homework
Begin with any color of supplies below, cast on 15 sts, knit 4 rows garter stitch.
