Will This Pattern Fit? with Susan Lazear
Love to knit, but don't know if the pattern will fit? Learn how to translate the knitting instructions into measurements and then compare them to your body to determine if the garment will fit and if alterations are necessary. Students will measure themselves and work on several patterns to determine and calculate the fit according to their need. Choosing appropriate styles for your figure will also be covered.
Supplies
Bring one or two patterns you would like to translate and a favorite-fitting sweater or garment.Sharp scissors, notebook, pen or pencil with an eraser, stitch markers, blunt tapestry needles (large and small), flexible tape measure, small calculator, and needles & crochet hooks of various sizes. Homework
