Ruffle, Frill, and Scalloped Edgings with Kathy Zimmerman
Decorative edgings offer an easy-to-do element that makes your knitting extra special. Kathy will present how-to's for working a ruffle, cobweb frill, and scalloped edgings. The student will have a hands-on opportunity to knit samples of each and learn new skills such as central double decrease, the e-wrap cast-on method, working into the back loop, un-raveling stitches, working multiple increases and decreases and much more.
Approximately 100 yds #4 (worsted weight) yarn, 5 or 5.5mm/US 8 or 9 needles, row counter.
Sharp scissors, notebook, pen or pencil with an eraser, stitch markers, blunt tapestry needles (large and small), flexible tape measure, small calculator, and needles & crochet hooks of various sizes.
