Supplies
About 2 ounces of smooth, light-colored, #4 (worsted-weight) yarn and appropriately sized needles; one set double-pointed needles in same size.Sharp scissors, notebook, pen or pencil with an eraser, stitch markers, blunt tapestry needles (large and small), flexible tape measure, small calculator, and needles & crochet hooks of various sizes. Homework
With worsted weight yarn, knit 2 swatches in stockinette stitch about 4" wide and 2" long. Keep both on stitch holders with yarn attached.
