Bead Whimsy! with Sivia Harding
Does bling make your heart sing? Learn how to put beautiful beads in any stitch pattern! This class is guaranteed to make you smile and bring whimsy into your life. While working a flat sampler, we will explore all potential beading situations: how to bead cables, lace, texture, or just plain knitting. You will emerge with inspiration and tons of ideas.

Supplies
Approximately 40 yards of #1 or 2 (fingering or sock weight) yarn in a light solid or semi solid colorway; 2.25mm/US 1 circular or straight needles; at least 2 and up to 5 different colors of size 6/0 seed beads or their equivalent, approximately 120 beads total (8 grams) (Please purchase more beads than you will need.); US 13 or 14 (0.5mm or 0.75mm) crochet hook, dental floss threader or beading needle, at least 2 stitch markers.

Sharp scissors, notebook, pen or pencil with an eraser, stitch markers, blunt tapestry needles (large and small), flexible tape measure, small calculator, and needles & crochet hooks of various sizes.

Homework
Wind yarn into a ball. String 75 beads onto the outside strand of the ball of yarn.
