Beaded Vine Lace Scarf with Judy Pascale
The no pre-stringing technique allows the bead to slip onto a SSK or k2tog to create a unique fashion accessory. You will complete critical segments of the Vine Lace and Eyelet Lace patterns in a mini version of the full-scale scarf. While attractive on their own, the patterns are enhanced when combined. Value added: Experiment with ways to wear scarves, including Judy's favorite—a braided technique that works with any scarf all day long.Material fee: $3. Supplies
½ of a skein of solid-colored, #1 (fingering weight) yarn; 3.75 and 4 mm/US 5 and 6 straight needles or 24" circular. Note about yarn: Koigu or Cherry Tree Hill work well. Materials fee: $3.00 Sharp scissors, notebook, pen or pencil with an eraser, stitch markers, blunt tapestry needles (large and small), flexible tape measure, small calculator, and needles & crochet hooks of various sizes.
