Freeform Purse: Knit or Crochet with Myra Wood
Come spend a few hours immersed in pure creativity with Myra Wood. She'll take you on a fiber adventure into the wonderful world of freeform knitting (and crochet). You'll discover endless ways to combine various knitting and/or crochet stitches and techniques to create your own unique purse. Color, texture and design will all be explored during this inspirational process. All you need are very basic knitting and/or crochet skills. Come prepared to play!Materials fee: $5 Supplies
10-20 yards each of 10 to 20 coordinating smooth #2 to #4 (sport-to-worsted weight) yarns, any fiber; several small skeins of coordinating novelty, variegated and textured yarns; 3.75, 4 and 4.5mm/US 5, 6 and 7 short straight or circular needles; various sizes of crochet hooks from E to H; 6 safety pins or removable stitch markers; small scissors, yarn needle.Materials fee: $5.
