Beaded Bag with Knit One Below with Elise Duvekot
Learn the Knit-One-Below technique as you complete this versatile project to add to your collection. Carry it as an elegant small purse, fill it with potpourri, or put it into your knitting basket and enjoy it on a daily basis as the ultimate yarn cozy. Beads are optional, and you can use a thicker yarn to make a larger bag.
Supplies
Version with beads: #1 (Sock or fingering weight) yarn in two highly contrasting, solid colors; double-pointed needles in size appropriate for the yarn, 120 size 6/0 beads.Version without beads: Any weight smooth yarn in two highly contrasting, solid colors and double-pointed needles in a size appropriate for the yarn. Homework
If you are making the version with beads, string 120 beads onto the dark-colored yarn.
If you are making the version without beads, there is no homework. |
