Scandinavian-design Star Slippers for Kids with Laura Farson
Like sweaters for little feet, these Scandinavian designed slippers will delight. This pattern has been adapted for smaller feet, but the techniques are applicable to adult sizes as well. We'll start with a two-strand version of Judy's magic cast on, learn how to make right and left lifted increases, insert waste yarn, work with two colors in a round, decrease and pick up for cuffs. Along the way, we'll use purls and knits for textural accents.
Supplies
25 gr. each of 2 contrasting color, #4 (worsted weight) wool, Cascade 220 super wash or equiv.; two 16" or 24" 3.5mm/US 4 circular or double point needles; 6 stitch markers.Homework
