Playing with Patchwork with Beth Whiteside
Learn the basics of patchwork technique and explore log cabin knitting! Rectangles called logs are worked in tiers around a center square. We’ll make a basic garter stitch block in class, then talk about different ways to size, color, arrange, and join blocks. Intrigued? Come play with patchwork! Like the quilting technique of the same name, log cabin knitting is an excellent way to be thrifty AND creative! Supplies
3 balls (30 yds each) #4 (worsted-weight) yarn in 3 coordinating colors and needle 1 size smaller than listed on ball band. |
