Perfect Pairs: Contrast & Coordinate with Laura Bryant
It's a daunting task to pick the perfect color to pair with another. This class expands on Laura's Intro to Color class and takes you through the steps to pair colors that achieve your purpose, whether it be to calm or energize a color; excite or create quiet sophistication in your knitted fabric. Hands-on swatching with a variety of solid and multi-colored yarns allows you to see for yourself how different colors interact with one another. You'll leave with more confidence in creating color combinations.
Note: Must have taken Intro to Color. Materials Fee: $3.00 for additional yarns. Supplies
A variety of needles in range 4mm to 6mm/US 6 to 10; small variety of yarn in #3 to #5 (dk to bulky weight), solids and multi-colors ok; any "problem" yarns from your stashMaterials fee: $3.00 for additional yarn Sharp scissors, notebook, pen or pencil with an eraser, stitch markers, blunt tapestry needles (large and small), flexible tape measure, small calculator, and needles & crochet hooks of various sizes.
