Let's Band Together with Judy Pascale
There’s an alternative to separately attaching a band to an already-knit-panel. Learn to convert to a self-finishing edge that can be worked at the same time as knitting the garment. Practice the method on a sampler: compatible stitch patterns blend the band and the body together allowing for the proper band tension and providing the luxury of knitting them at the same time.
Supplies
#4 (worsted weight) yarn and needles appropriate for yarn.Homework
Cast on 28 stitches. Knit 3 rows ending on the wrong side. Work 4 rows in stockinette stitch. Leave yarn attached.
