Casting on for Toe-up Socks with Sarah Peasley
Sample a variety of cast-ons that will get your toe-up socks off and running in no time. Included are the Figure Eight cast-on, Judy's Magic Cast-on, Turkish cast-on, short-row toe, and Bosnian garter-stitch toes.
Supplies
Set of five 4.5mm/US 7 dpns or size to match yarn AND 4.5mm/US 7: two circulars of any length OR one circular needle at least 32" long (will not work with a shorter needle); 50 gms smooth, light-colored, #4 (worsted-weight) yarn; stitch markers, scissorsHomework
