Untwisting Intarsia with Jane Slicer Smith
Let Jane untangle the misconceptions of working Intarsia—start with simple a vertical stripe from a diagram and not a chart; secure ends and join new colors without knots! Advance to chart work, the logic of a little planning and placement to make the colors work for you! Of course Jane will have colorful sample garments and will show how very simple graph work can have stunning results.
Supplies
Cable needle, 20 gms each of three contrasting colors of yarn (not cotton or mohair) and suitable needles.Sharp scissors, notebook, pen or pencil with an eraser, stitch markers, blunt tapestry needles (large and small), flexible tape measure, small calculator, and needles & crochet hooks of various sizes.
