Curvy Crochet: How to fit crochet sweaters with Marly Bird
Have you ever spent time and yarn money to crochet a sweater that you never wear because it stretched, feels funny, or makes you look massive?
In Curvy Crochet learn how to make adjustments to armholes, the neckline, and other trouble spots that will help your finished garments look wonderful. Learn how to use crochet charts to help shape a garment, calculate the shape of a cap sleeve, and alter necklines. This is a fast-paced class with a lot of information but you will not be disappointed. Leave this class with more tools in your crocheter’s tool box to make better fitting sweaters.
Note: Must have crocheted at least one sweater and know how to increase, decrease and read a pattern.
#2 pencil and eraser, colored pencils, new tape measure, graph paper, ruler, calculator, and favorite sweater (we will measure this).
Sharp scissors, notebook, pen or pencil with an eraser, stitch markers, blunt tapestry needles (large and small), flexible tape measure, small calculator, and needles & crochet hooks of various sizes.
Bring to class your most recent body measurements and an example of a past project if you have it.
