Introduction to Estonian Lace with Brooke Nico
Estonian lace is gaining popularity. In this class, we will learn the tricks of all those wonderful textural stitch patterns prevalent in Estonian shawls. Great tricks for creating and blocking nupps will be discussed at length and practiced.
Note: Must be familiar with basic lace knitting including yo's, decreases and knitting from charts.

Supplies
Smooth, light-colored, wool yarn in fingering or sport weight, 3.75, 4, or 4.5mm/US 5, 6 or 7 needles pencil and paper

Sharp scissors, notebook, pen or pencil with an eraser, stitch markers, blunt tapestry needles (large and small), flexible tape measure, small calculator, and needles & crochet hooks of various sizes.
