I-cord Wonders with Daniel Yuhas
Put simply, I-cord is a rope-like tube of knitting made without turning the needles. But we can use it to make so much more than just overgrown string. In this class we'll learn to "knit" I-cord on our fingers, then how to knit it with needles, and how to use it as a cast-on, selvage, or bind-off. And we'll leave plenty of time for play and discovery as we explore the wonderful, freeing, and easy-to-create shapes we can make with this unassuming knitted tube.

Supplies
Smooth, worsted weight yarn in a light solid color; 2 double-pointed needles sized appropriate to your yarn and 2 double-pointed needles 2 sizes larger than you used for your swatch.

Sharp scissors, notebook, pen or pencil with an eraser, stitch markers, blunt tapestry needles (large and small), flexible tape measure, small calculator, and needles & crochet hooks of various sizes.

Homework
Using yarn and needles of your choice, cast on and knit a swatch in stockinette stitch 4 inches wide and at least 2 inches tall. Do not bind off.
