Crazy as Pi with Myra Wood
Discover endless possibilities for creative lace shawls using Elizabeth Zimmerman's Pi Shawl recipe. You'll learn everything you need to create a circular shawl or home accessory including circular cast-on for Magic Loop knitting in the round, inserting lace patterns as desired, and finishing your piece like a pro. It's easy as Pi!
Note: Must have basic lace knitting skills including chart reading.

Supplies
50 yards #1 (fingering) merino wool in one solid or semi-solid color (no variegates); 3.5 and 3.75mm/US 4 and 5 circular needles with at least a 20-inch cord (interchangeables are preferred); 16 stitch markers (no danglies).

Homework
Please familiarize yourself with the following 2 videos before class:
http://myrawood.com/tutorials
1) Circular Cast-on
2) Magic Loop Knitting
We will review both techniques but Myra wants you to learn them at home so that you will be familiar with them in class. If your prefer DPNs, that's fine but give magic loop a try.
