Color and Weave Sampler Scarf with Deborah Jarchow
Learn to get outstanding color-pattern effects using a rigid- heddle loom. Make a sampler scarf that looks like complicated patterns with very little effort. By using two contrasting colors of yarn you can achieve a houndstooth check, color blocks, and more! Some weaving experience is helpful.
Note: Rigid-heddle looms provided for class use.

_300 yards each of 2 contrasting colors of #4 worsted weight yarn (think black and white; yarn should be at least 2 ply, smooth, strong and not hairy)
_2 brown paper grocery bags
_Tube from inside a paper towel roll
_Tapestry needle
_Tape measure
