Cables and Zig Zags with Jane Slicer-Smith
This class is for students ready to use their cable needle for more than cables—traveling stitches! Great things can happen once we get the stitches traveling across the knitting—diamonds even! Join Jane and learn to not just read the pattern but to read your knitting, too! Jane will show sample garments and show how texture is involved with shaping garments for A-line and swing coat. Be sure not to forget your cable needle!
Cable needle, stitch markers, 50 gms of a single color yarn (not cotton) and appropriate needles.
Sharp scissors, notebook, pen or pencil with an eraser, stitch markers, blunt tapestry needles (large and small), flexible tape measure, small calculator, and needles & crochet hooks of various sizes.
