Finishing Tips with Ann McCauley
We will cover lots of little details related to finishing that contribute to having a more professional-looking finished garments. The list includes blocking, picking up stitches, buttonhole choices, seaming choices, edges, and what's left to do when you think you might be finished.


Sharp scissors, notebook, pen or pencil with an eraser, stitch markers, blunt tapestry needles (large and small), flexible tape measure, small calculator, and needles & crochet hooks of various sizes.

Knit two 4"x4" swatches in a smooth, solid-colored, mid-gauge yarn (US 7 or 8 needle recommended) in stockinette stitch with a knit 1 selvedge at each edge of each row.
