Cavalcade of Color Work with Franklin Habit
A playful, joyful introduction to three types of color work. We will discuss the nature and practice of jacquard/Fair Isle/stranded work, intarsia, and the little-known but intriguing garter-stitch jacquard, which allows for the introduction of color patterns into garter stitch! Prerequisites: Fluency in the basics of single-color knitting, including casting on, knitting, and purling. Best suited to advanced beginners and intermediate knitters looking to expand their repertoire of color techniques.

Supplies
Two balls of smooth, worsted weight yarn; one in a solid dark color and one in a solid light color (The colors chosen should contrast sharply with each other.); one circular needle (16”–24” is sufficient) in a size appropriate to the yarns chosen; scissors, yarn/tapestry needle, pen (or pencil) and paper for making notes. (In all of my classes, note-taking is highly advised!)
Optional: Row counter

Homework
None.
