2 oz of worsted weight wool, appropriately sized needles, a tapestry needle, a set of double pointed needles (#7 or 8), a crochet hook the same size as knitting needles plus one size smaller.
Knitting Basics including sharp scissors, notebook, pen or pencil with eraser, stitch markers, blunt tapestry needles (large and small), flexible tape measure, small calculator, and needles and crochet hooks of various sizes.
CO 19 sts. Work the following 2 rows until piece is 3" long. BO all stitches.
Row 1 *K3, p1, repeat from *, end k3.
Row 2 *P3, k1, repeat from *, end p3.
