Perfect Edgings: Necklines and Collars with Anne Berk
The edging is an important design element, providing beauty and function. At the neckline, the edge also frames the face —a focal point for any sweater.
Multiple neckline options—from simple to more complex—will be covered in this hands-on class: V-neck, boat-neck, scoop-neck, crew-neck, and collared necklines. Learn the basics of each, and you'll have one more way to ensure that your garments present a professional appearance from first stitch to last!
Smooth, #4 (worsted-weight) yarn and 3.75, 4, and 4.5mm/US 5, 6 and 7 needles (16" circular preferred).
Knit 3 swatches of stockinette at least 6" wide and 2" deep knit with the class yarn and 4.5mm/US 7 needles. Do not bind off your swatches, bring to class on needles or holders.
