Infinity Cables with Daniela Nii
We all love the look of the traditional cables and have successfully made a project or two (or more) and are ready to spice things up a bit. Let's break the mold of vertical cable panels and learn how to create horizontally connected infinity cables without changing the knitting direction, and how to start and stop a cable in the middle of the fabric. Many more cable possibilities will become possible with this technique, including knitting raised rings.
Smooth, solid-colored, #4 (worsted-weight), wool or wool-blend yarn in a light to medium color so that we can see our stitches; knitting needles suitable for the yarn; cable needle.
Sharp scissors, notebook, pen or pencil with an eraser, stitch markers, blunt tapestry needles (large and small), flexible tape measure, small calculator, and needles & crochet hooks of various sizes.
