Learn how to make the building blocks of the knitting world. The mitered square has long been a staple in knitting design, and now it can be a staple in your toolbox.

These magical mitered squares can be made in variety of stitches. Learn how to create one in garter, a mix of garter and stockinette, and plain stockinette. You'll also try different centered-decrease options for the miter. These join-as-you-go squares are the perfect traveling project.


Supplies
_#4 (worsted-weight) yarn at least 150 yards each of 2 or more light colors (no cotton)
_5mm/US8 needles 24" circular
_stitch markers (both solid and removable)
