_4.5mm/US 7 double-pointed needles or size to match yarn
_Approximately 50 grams smooth, variegated, cotton, #4 (worsted-weight) yarn (comparable to Sugar 'n Cream or Peaches 'n Cream)
_1 yard smooth, contrasting-colored scrap yarn
_ 4mm/US G crochet hook
_Blunt darning needle
Cast on 15 stitches. Knit 4 rows (garter stitch). Do not bind off.
