Customizing Your Mitered Squares with Jill Bigelow Suttell
Expand your knowledge of mitered squares. Add color for a stash-busting project, lace for an airy shawl, texture for depth or a combination of the three. We will discuss re-sizing of squares, different ways of picking up stitches, using multiple-sized squares, and different ways of building squares upon one another.
Note: Mitered square experience necessary.


Supplies
2 colors worsted weight yarn, 4.5 or 5mm/US 7 or 8 needles, pencil.

Sharp scissors, notebook, pen or pencil with an eraser, stitch markers, blunt tapestry needles (large and small), flexible tape measure, small calculator, and needles & crochet hooks of various sizes.

Homework
Cast on 29 stitches. Work garter stitch mitered square with your preferred decrease method.
