Buttonholes and Bands For Better Cardigans with Leslye Solomon
Learn all about making the most professional cardigans with the neatest bands and perfect buttonholes sized for the buttons you want. Practice a variety of Leslye's favorite buttonholes. See how easily you can space the buttons. Enjoy the confidence you'll have when you can turn a vague pattern direction into buttonband success.

Supplies
Smooth, light-colored, #4 (Aran-weight), wool yarn to practice various bands and buttonholes (avoid acrylic if possible; if allergy to wool is an issue, use a machine-washable wool as it is coated in acrylic); needles slightly smaller than what you would usually use with this yarn, 4.5 mm/US 7 should be appropriate for this 4 to 4.5 sts-to-the-inch yarn .

Sharp scissors, notebook, pen or pencil with an eraser, stitch markers, blunt tapestry needles (large and small), flexible tape measure, small calculator, and needles & crochet hooks of various sizes.
