![]() Note: Must know long-tail cast-on and how to knit, purl, cast on, bind off. Confident enough with Magic Loop to work it without supervision. Supplies
__Any smooth worsted to chunky weight yarn, in a light color for main color (MC). Wind MC in two small balls so you can cast on for homework with each ball.__Third ball of a contrasting color (CC) yarn in the same weight. __Two 24" circular knitting needles of the same size (whichever is appropriate for your yarn), OPTIONAL: use two different brands of 24" needle or two different color cables. __One 40" circular knitting needle in the size (which is appropriate for your yarn choice). Circular needles must have VERY flexible cords. __Knitting Basics: Sharp scissors, Notebook, Pen or pencil with eraser, Stitch markers, Tapestry needles (large and small), Tape measure, Small calculator, Needles and crochet hooks of various sizes Sharp scissors, notebook, pen or pencil with an eraser, stitch markers, blunt tapestry needles (large and small), flexible tape measure, small calculator, and needles & crochet hooks of various sizes. On 40" circular needle with one ball of MC, CO 28 stitches using long tail cast on.
