Creating FAB Crochet Fabrics: Unlocking your Inner Textile Designer with Shannon & Jason Mullett-Bowlsby
If you are interested in learning how to create new and exciting stitch patterns that result in FAB fabrics for your projects, you should be in this class.
Whether you are fairly new at wielding a hook or if you are carrying around the experience of a crochet sage, this class will shed new light on how we create custom fabrics for our garments and home décor designs and will give you the knowledge and skills for creating your own custom crochet fabrics.
In this class we'll teach you our evolving stitches method for creating and testing crochet fabric. We will start at the beginning with some strong base stitches that you will probably already know and evolve those stitches step-by-step into fabrics that are as different as tree bark and tapioca. Then, we’ll work on some stitches that you might not be so familiar with and apply the same principles to them resulting in unique and FAB custom fabrics made by your own two hands!
By the time we’re finished, you will have an understanding of how to create fabrics from the inside out and you will have the tools for experimenting with designing your own beautiful custom crochet fabrics.
