__50 grams smooth, light-colored #4 (worsted-weight) yarn
__50 grams smooth, contrasting-colored #4 (worsted-weight yarn)
__16" circular needle (measured from tip to tip), 4.5mm/US7 or size to match yarn
__2.75mm/US C crochet hook
__10 stitch markers
Swatch 1 With CC, cast on 15 stitches. Work stockinette stitch (knit RS rows, purl WS rows) for 3 inches. Bind off.
Swatch 2 With MC, cast on 80 stitches. Join without twisting to work in the round. Knit 4 rounds. Do not bind off. Do not cut yarn.
