American Pojagi with Katrina Walker
Patchwork, piecework – whatever you like to call it – we all love it! Take yours to a whole new dimension by exploring the beautiful world of Korean pojagi—single-layer piecework using alternative seaming methods to create gorgeous, reversible pieces of art. Explore several different techniques while you build a detailed reference notebook. As you create your samples, you will piece using silk, linen, and batiks. If you are looking to add a new dimension to your quilting, or try a new skill – this class is for you!
Note: Sewing machines provided for class use.
Includes needles and thread, sharp scissors, seam ripper, notebook, pen or pencil with eraser, flexible tape measure, and pins.
Materials fee: $20 for all materials and notions used in class including needles, threads, fabrics, use of instructor's tools, detailed reference notebook, and glue stick for mounting samples
