Fun with Needle Felting with Stacey Trock
Did you know that with just one needle, you can turn a fluff of wool into an adorable animal? It's called needle felting!
The scales on wool make it naturally want to cling to itself or 'felt.' (A lesson you've probably learned if you've accidentally thrown a sweater into the washing machine!) Learn how to harness this property of wool to make an adorable bear.
You'll discover the basic technique of needle felting (which requires no water!) and how to add embellishments like beads and embroidery. Not only will you leave with a cutie, but you'll have the skills to tackle larger projects on your own.
The best news? No experience in crocheting or knitting is required!
2 colors of wool roving (about an ounce each), sewing thread and needle, and needle felting needle. Please bring individual felting needles instead of a felting pen or tool.
Optional: foam mat
