Foundation Crochet Stitches with Edie Eckman
Frustrated by your too-tight foundation chains? Wish you knew a way to start your crochet without that little wormy chain? Foundation crochet stitches are beautifully flexible and serve as a great alternative to the standard foundation chain. Learn how to make single and double foundation stitches, and how to use them. It will change your crocheting life! Note: Must know chain, single and double crochet.


Supplies
smooth, light-colored, #4 (worsted-weight) yarn, 5 mm/H-8 or 5.5 mm/I-9 hook
Crochet Basics

Sharp scissors, notebook, pen or pencil with an eraser, stitch markers, blunt tapestry needles (large and small), flexible tape measure, small calculator, and needles & crochet hooks of various sizes.
