Old Shale: Theme and Variation with Candace Eisner Strick
Old Shale is perhaps the most beautiful and beloved of all the Shetland lace patterns. Its beauty and ease of knitting endures, and its variations are almost limitless. It has but one fault: the bind-off does not wave as beautifully as the cast-on. Come to class and learn how to adjust and manipulate Old Shale into dozens of beautiful variations and how to cure that bind-off problem.
Note: Must be able to read a charted pattern.
