Making the Most of Mitered Squares with Myra Wood
Mitered squares are so much fun and so easy to knit! Let's explore! Try a wonderful join-as-you-go technique that includes squares, rectangles, right-angle/L shapes, and 4 squares at a time. We'll also work squares on point and create patterns with different color placements and layouts. See what a difference color choice and stitch pattern can make.
Supplies
_4.5mm/US7 straight needles_40-50 yds of smooth, #4 (worsted-weight) yarn. (No 100% plant fibers but wool blends are ok) _2 removable stitch markers _small scissors Homework
Knit and block a 4" garter square with any one of the colors, bind off, and steam block just to relax stitches. Do not stretch.
