Learning Stacked Stitches with the Leaf and Star with Xandy Peters
The Leaf and the Star are two fun ornaments demonstrate different ways to use stacked stitches in small projects. Stacked stitches are increase and decrease techniques used to create vertical movement within a row. They create unusual shapes in knitting and extremely wavy striped colorwork without strands on the wrong side of the piece.You will leave the class with the confidence to move on to larger and more complex stacked stitch projects such as the Fox Paws wrap.
Note: Patterns will be provided.
_3-4 colors of #3 (DK) or #4 (worsted-weight) yarn scraps are fine
_Circular needles with a flexible cord in a corresponding size to your yarn and a few adjacent sizes, metal or plastic needles are strongly recommended
_Digital row counter
