Fox Paw Technique with Xandy Peters
Want to learn the secret to knitting Fox Paws? The real secret is that it's not a difficult pattern once you get the basics of stacking stitches down. Xandy uses this increase-and-decrease technique to create vertical movement within a row. Unusual shapes result forming extreme waves within striped colorwork - without strands on the wrong side of the piece. In the morning, we will learn the stacked stitch technique with some cool swatches. Then in the afternoon, we will pick our color order and cast on a swatch of the Fox Paw motif. You'll learn to read your knitting and troubleshoot your work to fix mistakes. You'll also learn a trick for weaving in loose ends as you knit, saving you from sewing loose ends later.
Note: Patterns will be provided.
