Tiny Piecing with Lynn Harris
Learn tips and tricks that make working small easier. Lynn will show you how to piece tiny stars and other small blocks as well as small-scale intuitive piecing. With Lynn's tips, you will be able to add a bit of tiny sparkle to your own quilt designs or make a quilt completely from tiny blocks like on the cover of Lynn’s book, Every Last Piece. These little units can also be incorporated into bags and other sewn projects.
Note: Must have a working knowledge of how to use a sewing machine.
_A variety of small pieces of solid and small scale prints. Scraps work great. You can also bring one or two fat quarters of a contrast fabric for background
_Patchwork/Quilting Basics: Needles, Thread, Sharp scissors, Notebook, Pen or pencil with eraser, Tape measure, Seam ripper, Pins, Rotary cutter and mat
Materials fee: $5 for pre-wound bobbins of a thread that is good for small scale piecing and pre-cut, one-inch squares for tiny piecing play.
