Seriously Sassy Stripes! with Patty Lyons
Stripes can add so much to your project, and there are more tricks to stripes than you might think! We will work a sampler that will teach you all the fun striping tricks, like how to knit in your ends as you go, a better way to join a new ball of yarn, how to make the color change magically just where you want with the felted join, and more. We'll also explore more advanced tricks like the knit and slide, a trick to add stripes to your rib, and the jogless join in the round. We'll end with design inspiration ideas that will get you ready to design your own stripe project!
Supplies
_3 different colors of the same weight yarn. AT LEAST 2 of the 3 must be 100% non-machine-washable wool._Circular needles of at least 24" length in a size that is appropriate to yarn (check ball band) _Knitting Basics: Sharp scissors, Notebook, Pen or pencil with eraser, Stitch markers, Tapestry needles (large and small), Tape measure, Small calculator, Needles and crochet hooks of various sizes Homework
