Garment Sewing 101 with Jennifer Stern-Hasemann
If you were in one of my pattern fitting or design classes and you want to sew your new pattern together with my guidance, join me! This skill-building class will cover all the basics of garment sewing. We'll start by laying out fabric and pattern pieces. Learn how to be sure you're laying the pattern out on the grainline. After cutting out the pieces and sewing them together, we'll check to see if your test garment needs any fitting adjustments. This class will be filled with fun and inspiration because you'll be able to see what your fellow STITCHES United friends have been working on. You'll leave class with a fitting test garment and a pattern that's ready for your fashion fabric.
