Repurpose That Sweater! with Tracy Purtscher
Grab those unloved wool sweaters lurking in your closet and on the racks of your local thrift store and give them a second chance at life. Go ahead, break the rules, and ignore the label that says “hand wash only” Let your wash machine and dryer do their worse, we want felt!
In class, we will use your new felt to make four quick and easy mug rugs using techniques similar to traditional rug making methods. Each of the four mug rugs will be a mini lesson in different felt strip rug making. Additional instruction and discussion will cover tips and guidelines for making full size home décor throw rugs.
