Hopscotch Block Party: easy piecing and block exchange with Ebony Love
There’s no party like a Hopscotch Block Party! Make new friends, swap fabric, and learn a new quilt block in this fun and energizing class. (Jelly roll and charm pack friendly.) Ebony provides a kit with the neutral fabrics to add a cohesive look to the blocks. (" Psst, it's like putting some of my stash into everyone's quilts.") We’ll make modified, framed, 9-patch blocks, slice them up, and exchange them in class. Then the real fun begins as we rearrange all the exchanges into new blocks and continue the scrappy look in the stashing and binding. Both beginner and veteran quiltmakers are welcome and encouraged to join us for this fun day of sewing.
Note: Must have experience operating a sewing machine and sewing a straight stitch.
Note: Sewing machines provided for in-class use.
