Japanese Knitted Slippers from Michiyo with Gayle Roehm
In the new Japanese Knitting book by Michiyo, this is a pair of cleverly-constructed, cabled slippers made in aran- or worsted-weight yarn, but are easily adaptable to a range of sizes.
The slippers are knit flat then seamed. We'll look at how to make them and how they're put together. Gayle will even help you create a foot template to adapt the pattern to your size.
You will knit as far as possible during class gaining enough information to complete them at home. Join the ranks of Japanese pattern knitters as you begin a great project for yourself!
The pattern will be provided; you do not need to purchase the book.
Note: You MUST be comfortable knitting from charts.
